Cornerstone International Tuesday Night Hospitality Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in serving with Cornerstone International! Cornerstone International meets once a week on Tuesday nights at Cornerstone Church.

We eat a meal from 6pm-7pm in the Cafe. We have large group gathering in the Equipping Room from 7-7:45pm. We have small groups in breakout rooms through the kids hallways from 7:45-8:30.

Most volunteer roles regarding the meal take place before, during, and after the meal time.

The PAID positions for kids care take place 6:45-8:45pm. You can expect to be scheduled to serve once or twice per month.

The first Tuesday of every month, the Cornerstone International doesn't meet at the church at all, instead members partake in outreach night. No volunteers are needed these nights.

This is the first step in our onboarding process to become a Tuesday night volunteer. Following the submission of this form, Global staff will reach out.

Meal prep - providing a meal (one-off or recurring) for 60 people. Inviting in your Connection Group or others to help is advised. Could be dropped off earlier in the day, not required to stay.

Meal setup/serve/cleanup - help prep and serve food, wipe down tables, and wash a few serving bowls, utensils, crock pots, rice cookers, etc.

Venue setup/tear down - help setup and tear down tables and chairs for meal in cafe, large group gathering in Equipping Room, and small groups scattered throughout kids hallways.

Provide rides - either in your own vehicle or perhaps Cornerstone big vans, pick up internationals and bring to Tuesday evening service.

PAID child care positions - care for children of internationals and leaders in the ministry during the Tuesday night meeting. $30 per night for lead adult teacher. $25 per night for adult childcare helpers. $15 per night for junior childcare helpers (ages 14-17). You can eat the meal together with everyone, then serve in kids care for 2 hours. NOTE...for any who check paid child care positions, there is another process to follow. You will be notified of next steps.

IFC Welcome Picnic volunteer - On FRIDAY August 29th we are kicking off Family Groups with an event at Brookside Park. This is scaled-down version of Farm Fest where both leaders AND believing internationals (who have been a part of Tuesday nights) are inviting internationals into family groups.
